Bangalore, June 15 2015:  Quess Corp Limited, India’s Leading Integrated Business Services provider, today announced its partnership with the Ministry of Education, Government of Karnataka to develop Government schools across the State. As per the MoU, the onus of maintaining infrastructure (plumbing, electrification, painting, furniture, computer labs etc.), training for students (Life skills, Computers, Health & Environment, English etc.), providing them stationery and uniforms will be undertaken by Quess Corp. The first such school, Government Higher Primary School, Iblur is being inaugurated today by Mr. Kimmane Rathnakar.

Two more MOUs have been signed with upcoming schools being located in Somsundarapalya and Parangipalya. The program aims to support 10 schools this year and gradually extend its reach to 50 schools, 20,000 students in the next 5 years.

Also gracing the occasion was Minister for Primary & Secondary Education, Government of Karnataka, Mr. Kimmane Rathnakar. He said, “Under the agreement, Quess Corp, through its CSR wing-Care Works Foundation, will support the education department of Karnataka by aiding primary and secondary education. The Ministry for Primary and Secondary education, Karnataka has further granted INR 5, 00,000 towards infrastructure development of the Government Primary School, Iblur. It is imperative to spread awareness about primary education and provide the underserved with opportunities to improve their quality of life and future employment opportunities.
