Ajit Isaac, founder of Quess, has spent over two decades building leading enterprises in India’s business services sector. Under his leadership, Quess has expanded to a workforce of over 479,000, generating around $2.5 billion in revenues, and has emerged as a structurally important player in the Indian economy.

Ajit’s vision and focus on execution have driven Quess’ rapid growth. His leadership has led to transformative partnerships during his tenure, including the investment by Fairfax Financial Holdings in 2013, which remains the single largest shareholder.

A gold medalist in PG-HR and British Chevening Scholar from Leeds University, Ajit worked in corporate roles for a decade before starting his entrepreneurial journey in 2000.

Beyond business, Ajit is deeply committed to social impact. He established the Quess Foundation, CSR arm of Quess Corp, that has so far supported over 16,000 students across 75 government-run schools. His personal philanthropic initiatives under the Ajit Isaac Foundation include partnerships with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore to set up The Isaac Centre of Public Health, and with CMC Vellore to establish a paediatric specialty centre in collaboration with Fairfax and Quess. Ajit Isaac Foundation in partnership with John Hopkins University is also developing a 63-bed palliative care centre in Karnataka.

He currently serves on the Board of Karnataka Technology, Innovation Museum Foundation and Governor at St. Joseph’s University, Bangalore. Ajit is also a distinguished Co-founder and Trustee of Ashoka University.

Lohit Bhatia is the Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer at Quess Corp Limited. With over 28 years of multi-industry experience, he has been instrumental in building one of India’s most significant corporate growth stories while helping shape the country’s evolving staffing ecosystem.

Since joining Quess in 2011 as General Manager – Sales, Lohit has led the company’s rapid expansion, growing its associate workforce from 13,000 to nearly 480,000 and establishing Quess as India’s No. 1 staffing organisation and the world’s fourth largest by headcount. His strategic leadership has also driven Quess’ expansion across the Middle East, Singapore, and Sri Lanka through targeted mergers and acquisitions, seamless integration, and sustainable growth. This trajectory is reflected in Quess being ranked 37th globally in the 2024 Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) rankings by revenue.

Lohit is also a prominent advocate for workforce formalisation and labour reform. He served three consecutive terms as President of the Indian Staffing Federation from 2020–2026 and currently represents Southern APAC as a Board Member at the World Employment Confederation. He works closely with policymakers and institutions including Udaiti Foundation, CII, and EFI on labour codes, skilling, employability, and the future of work in India.

Lohit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a Master’s in Marketing and Sales, and an Advanced Systems Diploma in Computers. His earlier experience spans textiles, auto components, and services, giving him a broad foundation in commercial strategy, product and service design, business development, and large-scale manpower outsourcing.

Anish Thurthi is a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with over 20+ years of experience in investment management, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and financial advisory. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bangalore University.

He currently is a Director at Fairbridge Capital Private Limited, an investment advisory firm managing investments for Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited and Fairfax India Holdings Corporation. In this role, he plays a key part in strategic financial planning and investment management.

Over a span of 38 years, Mr. Kalpathi Ratna Girish has lent his considerable expertise to corporates in financial analysis and reporting, international taxation, including that related to M&As, internal controls, and business strategy. Ms. Sudha Suresh is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, respectively. A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, he has built a distinguished career across large multinational organisations and high-growth start-ups across Technology, Services, Fintech, Manufacturing, and Pharma.  Prior to Quess, he served as Global CFO of Startek, a NYSE-listed company (now owned by Capital Square Partners, Singapore), where he was part of the executive leadership team overseeing operations across 12 countries. He played a pivotal role in Startek’s take-private journey, leading delisting, funding and restructuring initiatives, M&A, and large-scale business and technology transformation.

Neeraj also held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Comviva, and Convergys, leading global teams across Finance, IT, Legal, Procurement, Risk, and Compliance. He is a member of ASSOCHAM’s National Council of CFOs and co-founded Oxygen 4 India, delivering impact during the second wave of COVID-19.

A multi-skilled global professional with over 25 years of experience with companies like TNT Express, G4S, and the Tenon Group, Nitin has expertise in general management, senior sales & marketing roles for different industries across multiple cultures and geographies throughout Europe and Southeast Asia; primarily in Netherlands, Singapore, Vietnam and India, bringing in diverse experience and perspective to the business.

Sanjay Shetty leads Quess’ Recruitment, GCC and International Services business, along with the GCC services, supporting global enterprises in building and scaling high-impact Global Capability Centres in India. With over two decades of leadership experience, including senior roles at Randstad India, he is known for enabling complex talent strategies at scale.

He holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management from Pune University, an MBA in Marketing from the Canadian School of Management, and has completed the Senior Executive Program at INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
